Ahead of the Bell: Producer price index (AP)

Wholesale inflation likely was flat in March as rising tobacco prices offset falling energy costs. Wall Street economists surveyed by Thomson Reuters expect wholesale prices were level last month after increasing 0.1 percent in February.
